I get great joy in painting flowers because it creates a deep and personal connection with the beauty of nature. Rather than aiming for strict realism, I strive to capture an ethereal, dream-like quality that feels soft, luminous, and almost otherworldly. I particularly enjoy the rewarding challenge of composing each piece thoughtfully — balancing shape and negative space, varying the hues and tones to reflect the unique character of each flower, and bringing a sense of delicate movement and life to the petals. Through this creative process, I translate the fleeting loveliness of blossoms into something timeless and deeply satisfying on the canvas.
