We sought a memorable website name that would embody a personal archive of curated thoughts and life experiences. The title needed to be broad enough to include photographs, artwork, and stories. We chose Fragments and Light as an evocative name—“light” representing photography (capturing light), artwork (illumination and inspiration), and stories (shedding light on memories and muses). The word “fragments” perfectly conveys the diverse, pieced-together nature of family history, random reflections, photos, and art without feeling too literal or restrictive.
